We invite you to attend our 2019 Annual Lawyers and Administrators Meeting.
Our Lawyers and Administrators Meeting brings together technical experts and plan professionals on multiemployer health and pension plan topics to discuss the cutting edge issues facing our plans. Our program will feature forums with representatives from the government agencies with jurisdiction over our plans to foster open dialogue between the multiemployer community and agency representatives on issues important to you.
Our agenda for this year will include sessions on
– A readout on the Joint Select Committee on Solvency of Multiemployer Pension Plans, lessons learned from the process, and a look forward at the outlook for multiemployer reform in the coming year
– An update on current issues in healthcare, including the various Medicare for All proposals
– A report on the current funded status of the PBGC, including the latest deficit projections, and estimated insolvency
– Speakers from the Government Agencies with jurisdiction over our plans, including Treasury, DOL, and PBGC
