Graduated from Apprentice to Journeyman on March 1, 1976 and received Outstanding Apprentice Award. General President John H. Lyons, Jr. gave special recognition to Ron by having him participate in the Bicentennial Celebration in Washington D.C. June 29 through July 12, 1976.
Local Union offices held: Executive Board Member, Recording Secretary, Vice President, President, JATC Chairman, B.M.F.S.T. and Tacoma Building Trades President.
Local 86 Seattle, WA member as of April 1, 1999. Assisted with Local 86 International Supervision.
International General Organizer March 1999, President of the P.N.W.D.C. February 2000-2014, Chairman of the P.N.W. Retirement, Annuity and Apprenticeship Trust Funds 2000-2014. IMPACT Trustee 2004 – present.
International Convention Delegate to the 36th through 42nd Conventions consecutively as well as serving on Convention Committees at 38th, 39th, 40th, 41st and 42nd Conventions.
