• 2022 Annual Conference

    September 17-21, 2022

We were pleased to welcome our attendees back to the Diplomat Beach Resort in Hollywood, Florida. The conference began with a pre-conference workshop on Saturday, September 17, taking a deep dive into a current topic of interest to multiemployer plans. Sunday, September 18 featured our charity golf tournament benefiting Dad’s Day and our opening reception in the evening. Plenary and breakout sessions on Monday, September 19 and Tuesday, September 20 focused on the most pressing issues of the day affecting multiemployer pension and health and welfare plans. And the conference closed on Wednesday, September 21 with presentations from representatives of the Federal Agencies with jurisdiction over our plans.

The conference discussed many important current issues, from the special financial assistance program for deeply troubled multiemployer plans, to withdrawal liability court decisions and forthcoming regulations affecting all multiemployer pension plans, to the clear focus of the Department of Labor on mental health parity and other issues.
